Meet Liz

I’m Dr Liz Smit, and I created The Rainbow Bridge Vet Launceston to offer compassionate in-home euthanasia for pets. My role is to bring calm, comfort, and care during one of life’s hardest moments — helping your beloved companion find peace at home, held in your love.

  • The most amazing, understanding, compassionate service ever. We hadn't met Liz before the day we had say goodbye to our dog over the bridge. Liz gave us so much time and understanding and answered all our questions. She spent time getting to know our dog and he was completely comfortable.It was wonderful having him at home and not in a strange place. She even followed up with a lovely card a week later. I would highly recommend her.
